Carine Calisthenics Club History

Established in 1977 by Pam Bartlett and her mother Win, our mission at Carine Calisthenics is to run an inclusive club focused on having fun, encouraging fitness and developing core  skills within a caring and friendly environment.

We are a competing Grade B club, performing in two inter-club competitions a year during Term 3 - the Betty Fitzpatrick Competition and the CAWA State Championships. We spend Terms 1, 2 & 3 preparing for these competitions and Term 4 developing skills for the following year.

We also hold an annual 'Carine Family Concert' for family and friends in late August to showcase the items our members have been working on all year.

Our club is divided into five teams by age.

Starlets    3 to 6 year olds (non competing)
Sub Juniors (Reds & Blues)   7 to 10 year olds
Juniors  11 to 13 year olds
Intermediates 14 to 17 year olds
Seniors  18 to 25 year olds (if numbers allow)
Masters   26yrs + (non competing)

We are a not for profit club and ask members to help out during the year with various events like our fantastic Family Concert, stage displays and fairs, annual competitions and fundraising.
